Want to know one of the best ways you can help Aim Right Ministries? Pray. Prayer is vital. Throughout the Bible, the mention of prayer is persistent and recurrent. And the power unleashed through the discipline of prayer is evident.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
– 2 chronicles 7:14; niv
Although the priority on prayer is obvious, we continue to hurry about our lives, seldom taking time to stop and focus. Has there ever been a more critical time in history for prayer to become a priority for the Church? The problems both within and outside of the body of Christ are seemingly insurmountable, and the challenges we face more grave and desperate than ever before. We need to pray, filled with humility, honestly admitting dependence. Focused. Intentional.
To lift up in prayer Aim Right and the community it ministers to daily.
Goal: To see God move through the lives that are touched. To equip those involved with Aim Right to stand firm and hold strong against Satan’s attacks.
If you want to intentionally pray for Aim Right, here are a few suggestions:
- Commit to a time of prayer weekly (a guide is available to help you pray for specific needs).
- Do a prayer walk in the Garfield neighborhood, praying over the youth and families on a certain block or street.
- Commit to a time of prayer and fasting every Monday.
- Review our Aim Right blog for current prayer requests.
“The prayer power has never been tried to its full capacity. If we want to see mighty wonders of divine power and grace wrought in the place of weakness, failure, and disappointment, let us answer God’s standing challenge “Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not.”
